An ecosystem to transform internationalization

COL_DECISIONSEED It promotes a structural reform of higher education in Colombia, aligned with the new national internationalization policies.

Through a Quintuple Helix model, it articulates academia, government, the productive sector, civil society and the environment to build a cohesive, inclusive and sustainable ecosystem from the territories.

The Catholic University of Manizales, founded in 1954, is a high-quality accredited institution that offers more than 30 programs and promotes comprehensive education with a humanistic approach. 1 - 9
ASCUN (Colombian Association of Universities) - RCI (Colombian Network for Internationalization) The Colombian Association of Universities (ASCUN), founded in 1957, is a non-profit organization that represents 98 Colombian higher education institutions, public and private, and promotes academic quality, university autonomy and the internationalization of the system. Its Colombian Network for Internationalization (RCI), created in 1994, articulates ASCUN member HEIs and 52 additional technical and technological institutions, strengthening academic cooperation, governance and the international positioning of the country's higher education. 2 - 9 Higher Education Development Fund (FODESEP) Higher Education Development Fund, currently has a presence throughout the national territory through 119 affiliated Higher Education Institutions and we continue to grow. It is an entity specialized in the promotion and strengthening of the education sector, based on its articulating capacity. Through this network, we manage the administration of resources and the execution of projects for public and private entities, as well as the articulation with international organizations and allies, expanding the impact and projection of the Colombian education sector. We are a mixed economy organization, linked to the Ministry of National Education of Colombia, of private law, non-profit, of social interest, organized under the principles of solidarity economy, created by Law 30 of December 28, 1992 and regulated by Decree 2905 of December 31, 1994. 3 - 9 Colombia Challenge

It is known for its international focus and its education based on humanist values. 5 - 9 THUAS The Hague University of Applied Sciences is a Dutch university with more than 26,000 students from 125 countries, focused on sustainability, innovation and global citizenship. 6 - 9 UTP The Technological University of Pereira is a national public university founded in 1958, accredited in high quality by the MEN and with international seals such as EUR-ACE and ARCU-SUR, located in Pereira, in the Coffee Cultural Landscape recognized by UNESCO 7 - 9 REDTTU REDTTU is a private non-profit organization that integrates 33 public technical, professional, technological and university institutions, with the purpose of strengthening higher education of a technical and technological nature in Colombia. 8 - 9 Ministry of National Education The Ministry of National Education is the government entity responsible for designing, coordinating, and evaluating public education policies in Colombia. 9 - 9

Work Packages

The project is structured through five Work Packages that integrate governance, knowledge diplomacy, sustainability, management, and international outreach. Each component plays a strategic role in strengthening internationalization with territorial impact and a global perspective.
